It seems that cars from the past really have something special and it seems buying a very special limited edition car seems to be a very good option for now. The famous car was designed and driven by Edsel Ford, who was the one and only son of the famous Henry Ford. The car designed and driven by Edsel Ford was the famous Ford Model 40 Speedster and it was a huge flop when it actually rolled out back in the 1930’s.

The car was at a point sold for as little as $600 and boy, would that guy be kicking himself right now if he knew the price for which this was auctioned off. The 1934 Ford Model 40 speedster went for an amazing $1.76 million in an auction recently. It is the price for which you could probably buy some of the best cars on the planet and a lot more. One wonders what made anyone bid so much for a car that was deemed useless when it was new and fully operational!
