
The new Focus is out in the market and it comes with a great list of enhancements and gadgets. 2008 Focus is available in coupe and sedan versions, it is lighter, quieter, safer and more powerful than its predecessor.
The new Focus is the debut platform for Ford Sync and LED-powered ambient lighting. With LED ambient lighting, the passengers can choose from seven colours (red, blue, aqua, purple, white, green and yellow) using a dash-mounted switch. Sirius satellite radio is also included in the package.
For added safety, the Focus has side air bags, side air curtains and tire pressure monitoring system. The new Focus will be available in three trims, Focus S, Focus SE and Focus SES.
A 2.0-liter Duratec 20 4-cylinder engine with 140hp and 136 lb-ft of torque, will power the new Focus. A five-speed manual transmission is standard, though a four-speed automatic option is available.
Focus S coupe is priced at $14,695; the sedan version of the S cost $14,995. SE models cost $1000 more, while the SES coupe comes in $16,695 and the sedan costs $16,995.
