The 2008 Peugeot 807 has been updated from its 2002 model to include the latest technology and design from the automobile sector that could give its competitors a run for their money, and buyers the feasts they are looking for.
The latest Peugeot 807 though at a glance looks the same as the older 807 model but it has some extra designer element added to it. It has some new chrome features added to the exterior with a chrome trim round the vehicle and its door handles have a chrome finish. Softer colors have been added to the panel and door fittings to accentuate the chrome finish. The Peugeot is available in two metallic paint finishes - Rhodes blue and Moondust grey. The interior of the car is spacious with seven individual seats and lots of space for luggage.
The 2008 model has taken into account cleaner emission norms with its new 2.2 litre HDi DPES 125KW diesel engine that is powerful with lesser carbon dioxide emission. It will be running on the world’s first twin parallel turbochargers - a four-cylinder diesel car engine. At low speed the car moves on a single turbocharger with the second turbocharger taking charge as the car picks up speed. The twin turbocharger reduces fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.
Another new addition to the 2008 model is the addition of AM6 six-speed automatic gearbox. This improves acceleration and also reduces fuel consumption and reduces the noise level.
Keeping pace with requirements of the owners of the vehicle who would always like to carry a chunk of their workplace with them while traveling, 2008 Peugeot 807 has a multimedia system with Bluetooth integrated in it. There is an adjustable screen with DVD player fitted in the central roof of the car, with wireless headsets and remotes.
When the 2008 Peugeot will run on the road, it will be a treat to watch.
