Kia has released the first official shot and a few little details of the upcoming SUV. Built on the Mesa concept, the new SUV will be called Borrego. This mid-size SUV will debut at the Detroit Auto Show and go on to showrooms by summer next year.
Borrego will come with a V6 engine, but the Koreans may become generous enough to place a V8 under the hood and endow Borrego with Kia’s largest towing capability in history. Borrego will be pitted against formidable rivals like Jeep Grand Cherokee, Chevrolet Trailblazer and Ford Explorer.
