The second installment of Roush’s World War II fighter planes is out, and the P-51B Mustang is good enough to fit the bill. Performance tweaks to the Mustang include an upgrade to the clutch, custom-calibration to the ECM, 6-piston brakes and a Stage 3 suspension. Housed in the hood is a 4.6-l supercharged V8 that gives out 510hp of brute force coupled with 510-lb-ft of torque.
The exteriors are covered in vapor paint with olive drab stripes, black chrome wheels, Cooper RS 3 tires and Roush’s 6-piece aerobody kit. Only 51 units of the Roush Mustang will be sold, and each will have a sticker price of $65,800.
