Not many would want to mod a nice, vintage 1935 Chevy Master to a gnarling street rod. But, if you are Robert Wood, you would definitely prefer a Street-Rod to a vintage for blazing around city streets. So, Robert Wood has taken a homely 1935 Chevy Master and given it some hot-street punk style to end up with a stunner of a street rod. For this, he has used plenty of circle-track bits to make it one hell of a scorcher. First up, you have the legendary Chevy 350 V8 engine that has been nicely done with plenty of chrome and go-faster bits to make the Master a fire belching hot rod.
The chassis too gets come dirt track car-like lightening and strengthening to take all that power that the V8 belts out. The bodywork remains bog standard except for a few sporty paint jobs here and there. Tyres are where this street rod screams look-at-me. Massive Hoosier pro-street radials sit on the Basset steel wheels to give this car plenty of street cred. Suspension too gets beefed up with a big coilover shocks. All these mods makes for one very hot street rod that has timeless vintage character mixed up with some in-your-face styling and tarmac scorching performance.
