The new Autodelta 147 GTA AM 3.7 is pushing the Alfa 147 GTA to another level.The car is made from a perfect blend of practicality with performance as ensured by Autodelta’s engineers .This is a high performance car and feels at home on the grand prix track but is just as suitable for day to day driving scenarios also.
This new version uses an upgraded Alfa V6 engine, with its capacity increased to 3,750cc, there is remapped management system, throttle body derived from a Ferrari, with a Rotrex C38-81 supercharger which gives 0.75bar of boost, taking it to a all new level with maximum power of car reaching up to 422bhp at 7000 rpm and torque making a significant improvement and reaching 520NM.
Autodeltas presence at Spa-Francorchamps famous grand prix track ,and also on various other circuits is due to an on going research and development programme of London based aftermarket Alfa Romeo engineering firm .
Jano Djelalian (Autodelta’s MD) was delighted to introduce the Autodelta 147 GTA 3.7 Super at Spaltalia in front of knowledgeable and interested audience, and the support they received. He was also very pleased by the job done by the organizers with weather also in favor. It was a perfect time to bring a new car .The brand new F1 pit garages also helped in raising the standards and making things go with more ease. New tire compounds developed specially by Dunlop (Sports Maxx Tyre) were also tried on the147 on Sunday.
Autodeltas test driver, Paul Paggiosi was very much satisfied with both of his own and the cars performance from the two days at Spaltalia. He was heard saying that this circuit was a well-match for the car as if they both are made for each other enabling the car to give out its best .The revised suspension settings which have been incorporate worked out well, with a superb handling capability proving themselves in the fast and demanding circuit .
On Saturday the car was running on customer specifications taking passengers with a heavy fuel load on road tires but as on Sunday there was an opportunity to test few newly developed parts, running on track tires, it was able to crack some representative lap times. All of the team was enchanted with till date development made by Alfa 147 GTA project.
Hope its expediency works out well with the facet of attracting customers as well as on the performance scenario. And it emerges victorious on the real grounds.
