acdc helmets
Hard Rock and Heavy Metal go perfectly well with big bikes, speed and adrenaline. Music has always had connection with the big bikes. It was a cultural phenomenon that picked up through the 70’s and 80’s and if anything, exists now only in its diluted form. Modern day mainstream music is nothing compared to the heavy metal that was mainstream through the 80’s and was the natural ally to the bikes and the crazy teens that drove them.

To take that tradition further, we have the AC/DC helmet. It has nothing to do with current though and finds its heritage in the famous 80’s rock band that found its way to the top of charts with the hit ‘Highway to Hell’. That is exactly what is printed on the back of the helmet and of course you have the face of Bon Scott on the side along with the big red logo. The helmet is quite simply a tribute to the legendary lead singer from Australia and the dizzy heights he reached before passing away at a young age of just 34.

Scott was the lead singer of Ac/DC before he passed away and his ‘Highway to Hell’ album put the group on the Hard Rock map for the first time. The helmet might be a tribute to Scott, but wearing one will keep you away from that literal highway to hell and now it would also appear cool to sport one. For those who love their rock tradition, this is an accessory that will rock your head and keep it safe!
