We just spoke about the Hyundai Genesis a couple of days back but when I came across it again I thought of giving it a sort of retake as they say in those cinematographical terms for I still have a couple of facts to tell you regarding the moniker and the brand on the whole.
I did tell you that the Genesis would be a rear wheel driven luxury offering from the Japanese automaker, a sedan which hopes to stake Hyundai’s claim as a luxury automaker pitting it against the likes of Mercedes and BMW.
I also told you that a new Tau-V8 engine would be prepared to see the car slither the tarmac using 375 horses. What I probably missed out on was the fact that the Genesis moniker would be evident in the Chinese and Korean markets only.
The first markets to get a taste of the Korean Sedan would be Korea, China and North America. The second name on this list makes me a touch jittery for its no guarantee that the Super Sedan would sell, but I personally guarantee you that a Copy of the Genesis would definitely be made... What say the Copycats!
