It is amazing how we cover so many big bikes day in and day out that we forget that it is the lot less glamorous, yet last more useful bikes that actually sell and make commercial profit. It is these bikes that make huge profits and allow the big boys to indulge themselves in making the big and the bad speed demons that unleash themselves on the road. But most modern guys and gals look for that wonderfully useful bike which serves them perfect all the time. It is not about being big and bad, it is about the utility of the complete package.
It is here that we forget about the scooter. Sure, it does not have all the muscle that a big bike has, but it does not need that. It is made for those sensuous female hands to caress it effortlessly through the street. This XO Movie scooter looks like an extra from the Transformers movie, able to fold down and lock itself up when not in use and featuring all of the curves and angles of our favorite robots in disguise. It can carry one or two people and has a variable wheel base to make it more stable while you’re cruising down the highway.
I would be still very interested to see to what extent it folds and how well it works. There is not much available on the XO as of now. The scooter looks really cool and yes, it does look lot like something out of a Sci-Fi flick. It makes plenty of sense to have such technology in modern times. One hopes to see more such ‘Transforming’ gadgets and vehicles in the future.
