There are few vintage cars that are still up for sale across the globe and to be honest it is a lot easier and cheaper to buy brand new cars than these vintage ones. But that does not mean that people will not buy them. There are plenty of car lovers across the globe that can actually afford these and do go out of their way to get them. We have covered many such cars in the past and here is another one. The Alpina BMW A4s is the latest to long list to add to that collection.

According to the guy who bought it he originally noticed this rare automobile for sale in a German publication in 1997 by an Alpina BMW collector and it took him six years of convincing the seller to part with selling the Alpina so that he could actually buy it! Now that is the height of automobile love indeed.

The Alpina had not been used on the roads for some years and when he finally took delivery he had the inner and outer sills replaced plus a high quality bare metal re-spray in the original BMW Chamonix white paintwork plus a huge inventory of spare body parts replaced. The car really looks cool with all the new additions and the new owner seems to be damn proud of it. There is no reason why one should not be too after putting almost 7 years of work in to it!
