America’s Insurance Institute For Highway Safety has voted Subaru’s Impreza as the safest machine. It was awarded the ‘Gold Standard’ for small cars in the ‘Top Safety Picks 2006′ due to its new safety features like reinforced pillar behind the rear passenger door and upgraded side airbags. Subaru scored ‘good’ in all categories on the vehicle’s performance in front, side and rear tests.
This is not the first time for Subaru, last year its Outback was the only vehicle to achieve a top rating in the American NCAP crash test. It truly must be an exceptional car.
