American supercar is returning to the streets next year. Entrepreneur Gerry Weigert is bringing Vector Avtech WX8 to the tarmac. The vehicle will be powered by a 7.0 liter V8 tuned to 600 bhp or to 750bhp with a supercharger. The unit is potential of delivering massive power of 1,200 bhp as well.
The zero to 60mph dash can be completed in 3.3 seconds to go on to a top speed of 270mph. Riding on 19-inch alloy wheels, the body is made of carbon fiber with a low drag spoiler attached to provide stability at high speeds. Interiors are jet inspired, complete with military specification switches.
A custom-engineered 10-speaker sound system is also present in this three-seater. Limited numbers of this supercar will go into production next year. We hope the American supercar does not end up with financial troubles like in the nineties, which halted the production of the car.
