A strange coincidence sees the clubbing of His Highness, Albert II’s 50th birthday and 25th anniversary of Monaco’s first-ever car brand MCA. Albert II unveils the prototype of the home-made super car - the all new ALA 50. Don’t you think it’s a red signal for Ferraris and Aston Martins, at least, in Monaco as MCA stands in direct competition? The Company founder Fulvio Maria Ballabio designed the ALA 50, and is building it together with father-and-son firm Guglielmo and Roberto Bellasi. As was expected, the chassis and bodywork are constructed fully of carbon fiber, while impetus comes from a 650hp V8 built by two F1 engine gurus. It’s no speculation that MCA looks forward to promote the car with three Monegasque drivers at Le Mans in 2010. So, to order one after ALA 50 gets underway is a real great ask.
