Armored cars sure do take up the security level up, but that mostly comes at the cost of their looks. Not for this Bentley Flying Spur. It has a Level B6 armor that makes it bulletproof and safe enough to drive through a number of tricky locations, the looks however, do not alter dramatically. The luxury car’s exterior does not seem to have changed at all. But with all that armor’s weight piling up, its 552 hp engine has a lot more work to do, so the performance is compromised to a certain degree.
Its armor includes ballistic steel in the doors, pillars, overlaps and sides of the vehicle, bulletproof glass, run flat tires, an explosion-proof gas tank, kevlar flooring and there’s an option of adding a self-contained oxygen supply system to come in handy if the car faces some poison gas attack. The armored Bentley costs nearly $500,000.
