Aston Martin has revealed a sketch of the Vantage GT2, with this it has become the only automaker to offer cars in every category of GT Racing. Based on the V8 Vantage, the GT2 has been designed to run on conventional as well as E85 fuel. Vantage GT2 builds on the experience gained by Aston Martin racing in 2007 when they coaxed the standard DBRS 9 to run on E85. Vantage GT2 will run in a number of races that now accept greener-fuels, including the American LeMans. The GT2 is expected to be fully unveiled in Birmingham at next week’s Autosport show.
