Dubbed as the Mini Killer by many car fanatics ,The Audi A1 is set for a launch in 2009... With the BMW relentlessly coming up its new Mini versions , We have a fierce battle on our hands by the beginning of 2009... This is all gearing up towards a new trend of small cars being retrieved, after a long time.
Audi will develop this Mini Compact Coupe in collaboration with SEAT (also a VW subsidiary), which will be based on the current Polo Platform. The A 1 is expectedly priced at 16,000 Euros.
VW certainly knows how to maintain its eminence, as they have the Lamborghini for the Super car segment, Touareg for the SUV Segment and Now the AI to compete with the BMW Mini.
