People visiting the Audi Centre, Sydney will be treated to a high-tech welcome with the presence of a Holographic Virtual Assistant. PDM has created the life-size virtual installation using rear projection film and rear mounted video projector technology displayed on a 10 mm thick piece of perspex. The result: a virtual talking person who is going to sell you a car.
All that does make Audi sound even more awesome; though we’d have preferred if they’d done away with the Perspex as well, and projected an AI Virtual Assistant into thin air… that will probably have to wait for a few more years.
