The American Auto makers should draw a leaf out of the German Audi’s book for the former have struggled in maintaining a uniform image throughout. They have been highly criticized at home and elsewhere their performance has been lauded.
Unlike their American compatriots, the VW owned German subsidiary, Audi has impressed everyone be it away or at home. Audi managed to win two awards at this year’s New York Auto Show and it just missed on the big one for the car of the year award.
The Audi unit had just finished celebrating its success in New York and another award has rekindled their merriment. Audi TT has been declared Germany’s most popular car according to the ‘our car’ readers poll. Out of the 56 cars introduced last year, Audi TT topped the poll in which 1, 00,000 responses were received .
The recognition has proved that Audi isn’t a superstar only in Uncle Sam’s territory, it has a huge fan following even at home and as far as the TT is concerned, it has never let down the proud German carmaker in its 12 years of existence.
