Fashion and the auto industry compliment each other pretty well for those high-end, call them sex-sirens of the automotive world are an embed part of the fashion verve. The relation between famous fashion designers and big brand carmakers isn’t a new one but it deserves mention if the fusion is as high profile as Audi and Michael Michalsky.
The fashion spree is getting intense especially with the big brand carmakers, a recent proof of which is Audi’s revelation that the entire staff would be wearing clothes designed by Michael Michalsky at Shows, Audi Forums and at dealerships. Michalsky is the new Audi Brand Ambassador who has created The Audi Corporate Fashion Line.
Ask me where the designer wear would be first on display and I would call it a sin for everyone knows what Frankfurt would be showcasing in a few days time. The Corporate Fashion Line will only be introduced in Germany to start with, but is also to be worn by Audi staff in international markets in the long term.
Audi couldn’t have chosen a better man as a brand ambassador for one he is a perfectionist and two he drives an Audi Q7 and to top it all; Michalsky is one of the most famous fashion designers in Germany and has received numerous awards for his work. He won the GQ Germany award as Designer of the Year 2003, was named Sport Style Designer of the Year 2004 at the ISPO fashion show and received the red dot design award 2005 with the adidas team.
