Reports suggest Audi has killed the R8 V12 TDI, in face of the current credit crisis. Unveiled at the 2008 NAIAS, the Audi V12 TDI boasts 500hp and 740 lb-ft of torque. All that supercar stuff however, does not come cheap, and Audi is thinking of saving that money in these hard times. The company believes that all that money can be taken from the car’s development and routed to more “sensible” projects instead.
