Things just keep getting better for speed freaks. Audi tuners MTM have come out with a 888bhp R8 engine powered car. Aptly named the Audi R888 it was highlighted at the Dubai Motor Show where it became a favourite. It was specially built for a European customer.

Take a look at the facts : 0-100km/h (62mph) in just 3 seconds and a top speed of 360km/h (223mph). Now that’s a fast car.

Here’s a bit of trivia - The Audi R8 was awarded Best Handling Car of 2007 by Autocar magazine. On the Fifth Gear TV show, it has won the Best Fast Car award as well as the Car of the Year award for 2007.

Now here’s a shocker. The folks at Audi are talking about an engine of V16 proportions. We can certainly expect more pleasant surprises.
