Audi’s first appearance at the Super Bowl after 1991, will feature atleast a theme, if not the scenes from the classic all-time great movie, The Godfather. Audi says it will use this theme to compare the new and the old in terms of luxury cars.

This spot will run during the first quarter of the Super Bowl, the spot will take people to the website of the featured product, the venerable R8. To quote Audi’s CMO Scott Keogh,

It’s a classic struggle. And we’re taking it and applying it
to Audi and using it to explain the nature of that conflict.

Being fans of the movie like millions are, we’re impressed
by Audi’s choice. This will make matters more interesting, and well, Scott
Keogh is a reasonable man.
