There is yet another super car that is going to sweep across your streets and it is another of those very special Ford GT cars that always manage to seek attention and turn heads. This time around it is Avro who get in to the act and along with Roush Technologies; the Surrey-based Ford GT maestros have brought out the all new and absolutely scintillating Avro 720 Mirage Ford GT. The car is both stunning on the outside and the inside and that too is a bit of an understatement.
The car has been de-restricted and boasts a top speed of 220mph so owners will be thankful that the braking system has also been upgraded too! The car manages to hit those blinding speeds without much fuss and very rapid acceleration thanks to that 720 bhp. Power is boosted to a minimum of 720bhp at 6950rpm and torque rises to 627lb ft at 4800rpm thanks to the fitting of a larger Whipple supercharger and revised throttle bodies.
The suspension has been tweaked too, with the ride height set some 25mm lower than standard, and the front and rear tracks are both 5mm wider than before. Only 10 of these cars will hit the road and so expect some price tag on them. The final price tag will depend on your personalized version and it could cost you a minimum of £160,000 and that is only the bare minimum. So if you wish to be in the elite club, then you will have to pay more than for most set of wheels. But it still is a very fair deal considering what you get!
