Although I personally cannot think of a lot of famous Danish cars, I certainly appreciate the efforts put into the Sondergard concept by Ricky Sondergaard who created the Batmobile-like roadster in collaboration with former BMW designer Jesper Hermann. With its bottenplattan, suspension, engine and gearbox design borrowed off of the Pontiac Solstice, the Sondergard features a sporty body with a 4 cylinder 2.0 turbocharged engine strutting out 265 horsepower under the hood that can make the car go from 0-100 in 4 seconds. Weighing in at 670 kg, the Sondergard features Toyo semi slick wheels and is expected to retail for something between 38,000€ to 65,000€ when it hits showrooms in the spring of 2009.
