Artist Romero Britto’s exhibition “Come to my World” will feature a Bentley Continental GT that the artist has used as a canvas for his pop art. The Bentley in question is a static prototype of the Continental GT built in 2003, and the artist has added a large flower, little stars, squiggles and signs on the hood and colorful, comic-like figures to the doors.
Apparently, the artist found Bentley to be particularly suited for his purpose. He said, “It is the most beautiful and elegant car in the world. The lines of the new design are perfect to paint as a clean canvas. What a way to start a fascinating and colourful journey.”
The Bentley will stay at the exhibition in Berlin from 10 July to 6 September, and will eventually be auctioned in aid of the Nathalie Todenhöfer Foundation.
