Bimota, the bike company from the good old days was well known for it’s high quality motorcycles during the 70s and 80s. Then the axe fell on the company and they went bankrupt. The Bimota has however restructured itself and with the help of a new designer, Sergio Robbiano, has launched the DB5 1000, a stylish model that is powered by an efficient engine and supported by a sturdy chassis. It has a frame of 20/25mm, tubular chrome molybdenum steel trellis with lateral plates in aircraft alloy a wheelbase of 1425mm, a ducati L twin cylinder, 2 valves per cylinder which are Desmodromic air cooled. With a displacement of 922cc, the bike can race along the highways easily. Italian design combined with high technology make the DB5 1000 a great buy. The bike is expected to cost 22,950 Euros.
