China offers for BMW a large market for its sleek vehicles for which it has become the second-largest market for the company. Responding to this, BMW is contemplating the launch of special versions of its existing vehicles for the country.
A spokesman for the company was heard saying, ‘There are various ways to approach this’ but ‘Adjustments to our product offerings are not on the cards at the moment.’
In the first quarter, BMW had already sold 1,680 BMW 7-Series cars in China and once this project materializes BMW’s Chinese partner Brilliance would be manufacturing the car for BMW.
