BMW has rolled out an absolute practical car for its consumers that offeres full functionality without compromising performance. A 5.0-litre V-10 engine and runs through a seven-speed Sequential Manual Gearbox to offer 507 bhp and 520 Nm of torque power the car.

This car has a perfect blend of sophisticated mechanics with logical controls. This blend enables the car to speed up to 200mph hassle free. The gearbox features eleven different change patterns that helps the driver to tune the drive in his desired way. A Launch Control function delivers the fastest possible acceleration from standstill.

The car also features a three-stage DSC+ traction control system that offers you to slightly go beyond the limits of traction permitting you with greater handling. The technology can transfer the drive to rear wheel completely in case of high-speed corners to just keep the car on the track. The car also has a Electronic Damper Control (EDC) system that offers three suspension settings to complement the prevailing driving conditions.

All these technologies and function are managed by a MDrive Manager on your steering wheel so with a single touch of a button the car is set to the desired settings. The car can perform good as a family car in one setting and can perform even better in a setting for a track day special. In addition the car comes with a Active Seat bolster support and nnovative iDrive control system with new short cuts. That’s not all it has an BMW Individual High End Audio system that uses 16 loud speakers to generate enough fun for your ears.

The new BMW M5 Touring starts production in March 2007 and will be priced at UKP67,075.
