Boeing conducted a test of its Advanced Tactical Laser (ATL) sometime back, and said it was a success. They didn’t release any video to prove it though, and now they have come up with a video. Sadly, it’s not the full video, only a few seconds of the actual test but you can see the truck getting a taste of the laser and flaming out, if only a bit. These lasers may come in quite handy to avoid collateral damage. The only way it would have been better is if Hollywood had done the tests in place of Boeing, I bet the vehicle would have blasted/vaporized on mere contact with the laser.
