I had initially thought that a license plate so closely associated with the famed spy would sell for a small fortune, well the fortune for this “A 007 SPY” license plate actually is very small at just £900 reserve. The license plate is on auction at the UK’s DVLA DVLA Personalised Registrations auction and will go under the hammer today. While the reserve decidedly is far less than what I had imagined, you can’t really say what the auction holds. It may actually go for a small fortune!
