Every end is a new start, so when Fritz Ehn, an Austrian professor decides to auction off all the motorcycles that he has been so fondly collecting since 1961, it marks the start of him collecting vintage tractors! While Ehn embarks on his journey towards passionately collecting vintage tractors, here is your chance to buy one of the many collectible motor cycles that he showcases in his collection.
A 1953 AJS 7R, a 1927 Böhmerland Reisemodell, a 1927 BMW R47, a 1991 Honda RC30, a 1933 Jawa Rumpal, a 1904 Laurent et Klement, a 1976 MV Agusta 750S America, a 1929 Neander P3, a prototype Suzuki Katana and a Vincent Black Shadow are just some of the 300 bikes that will be auctioned at Bonhams on June 30, 2008. This is the largest ever single-owner motorcycle collection and it goes out to show what an ardent collector this Austrian gentleman is, wait until he auctions tractors a decade down the line to make room for vintage cars next!
