At the 2009 Dubai International Motor Show, Bugatti put up another display of its notorious habit of releasing special editions of the Veyron. The automaker unveiled three special edition Veyrons in one of the car’s most important markets and that does make good sense. The special edition models unveiled are the Veyron Nocturne, Veyron “Sang d’Argent” and the Grand Sport “Soliel de Nuit.”
Only five units of the Veyron Nocturne will be built, each with galvanized side windows that go better with the aluminum body panels, a center console in galvanized platinum, black nanocoated magnesium dashboard, and polished wheels to go along. The one-off Veyron “Sang d’Argent” has a silver metallic finish and alloys similar to those on the Veyron Grand Sport.
The topless Grand Sport “Soliel de Nuit” has its lower end covered in metallic silver, while the top has a deep blue finish. This “Sun of the Night” has Havana interiors, quilted seats and is a one-off version created for the Dubai show. The cars will be ready for delivery in the first quarter of 2010. The Nocturne is priced at $2.5 million, the Soliel de Nuit carries a price tag of $2.2 million, while the Sang d’Argent will sell for $2.1 million.
