The last time you saw that Lonely Planet New Zealand episode on TV, you must have wanted to take a ride in the buzzball badly. Now, maybe you don’t have to fly all the way to New Zealand to ride a Buzzball. You can try one closer to home. The radical concept attempts to combine the thrill of a roller coaster and motion simulators to give that exquisite thrill of riding a Buzzball. Ergonomic evaluation was required and hence, CAD Ergo analysis of Pod and Ball concepts was tried on 3D ergo man. The idea was to make it as safe and easy as was possible for the user. The concept also had to provide vision for the user and an entrance and exit. Polycarbonate shell was used for the body and looks like it is a viable concept.
