This one isn’t out from GM, UAW gave these plans away when it published the summary of the tentative labour contract with GM. The summary spoke of a small vehicle based on the Alpha architecture, this small car in all likeliness will go to Cadillac.
Pontiac may end up with a less costly version of the same car; both cars will be rear wheel drives. Cadillac is aggressively trying to pull up its share in the US market. A car to replace the DTS and STS is expected to reach the markets by 2011, CTS coupe and wagon are about to enter in 2009 and there might as well be a fuel cell version of the E-Flex plug-in hybrid powertrain.
