Fiat’s new version of minicar 500, due for a 2007 launch, will first be treated to an Abarth touch delivering more tempting design and better performance. The refined version will run on 150-hp, 1.4-liter turbo, which can drag the car from 0-60 mph in 8 seconds. It will also have a distinctive fender flare (trademark) of the original Abarth 500, which covers bigger wheels and a stiffer suspension.
The race-ready version 695SS’s engine was fitted with a high-capacity aluminum oil sump and its air-cooled two cylinder engine was bored out to 689cc. So if you are the kind that gets thrilled by speed then here is a perfect match.
The Abarth version will debut alongside the Fiat 500 at the Geneva Motor Show.
