The Beast:
This is a machine that would really be of interest to those scores of ‘Back to the Future’ movie buffs. This is the same machine that was used as the hovering police bike in the second part of that famous series. The machine was found as broken and shattered scrap by a group of movie buffs and professional bike restoration team who turned it inside out and reconstructed it with plenty of effort. The bike look fabulous in its new form and one look at what the team had to work with will give you an indication of how difficult the job was.
The Machine:
Starting from the windshield which was shattered to bit to the dual exhaust system in which one of the exhausts was totally crippled, the bike needed a major overhaul. For this, the team took some help from the original molds of Hollywood Star Cars. The windshield was carefully restored to its original form after a painstaking piece-by piece restoration. The damaged exhaust and other parts were replaced by a Kawasaki dealer who was only glad to help. The final machine was soon restored to its original glory after a new paint job and some neat finishing.

The Thrill:
As cool as they appeared in the flick, nobody is letting you ride one of these any soon. The restoration team sold the bike to a movie car museum and it is now happily taking a much deserved rest behind the glass window. Also, the men who put in all the hard work got their due with the cash from the auction!
