Skates could soon be a thing of the past with the way technology is progressing and how personalized ways of transportation are becoming in the modern world. While various new designs are emerging which barely make it out on to the roads, few are actually rolling out to power us towards a better tomorrow. If using the skateboard was cool the CenterSkates take that gliding on the side walk to a whole new level.
Daniel Julier’s CenterSkates consist of a two ball bearings and is also fixed with rubber edges that help to could help to walk with the skates on. Also ergonomical cushioning is provided to hold the feet in place. A pedal on the toe-side renders a more direct riding feeling. The new wheels might not be for the faint of heart though as those who do not feel young enough to strap them on might look elsewhere for what they consider as saner options.

The new technology and design is really cool and one hopes and probably feels that it replaces skating very soon as it seems to provide with lot more agile options. Let’s hope the movement on two wheels catches on.
