It is easy to describe CERVA MC08 as a unique futuristic vehicle. But the fact remains that the oval shape of this single seater vehicle makes unique almost an underestimation. And the word futuristic also doesn’t come too close either. The funky looking transport vehicle is capable of traveling anywhere and anyhow. It doubles up as a car, motor cycle, jet plane, yacht or submarine readily. The brainchild of Michal Erve, CERVA MC08 is one revolutionary idea that is a clear portrayal of everything sci-fi.

As an entry into the 2008 Michelin Challenge Design, this Czech concept is multi-purpose and is proposed as a mode of transportation by combining it with various extensions. It might look flimsy, but the designer claims that the concept is actually stable and quite safe, thanks to a solid steel/carbon frame. The stability part is achieved by a middle wheel on the road as also by gyroscopes hidden in the axle. A great example of vision and innovation, CERVA MC08 strikes as something that everyone will own in a century or more; conservatively speaking of course.
