At Tour de France, Lance Armstrong’s “Livestrong” foundation will get inspirational messages across to the world through messages on the roads. The chalkbot is presumably, the most important part of this idea. Messages from fans and from the Livestrong foundation are “printed” on the road for all to see. Chalkbot is like a fast inkjet printer for the road, only, it uses chalk in place of any type of ink. The bot made its debut on July 5 during the second stage of Tour de France.
