It was only a couple of days back that we covered some of the best painted cars that I have seen in a long, long time. The designs on them were stunning and the spooky art made you stand up and take notice. Now we have a set of cars that is totally different and has that clean finished look to them. In fact it is so finished that it will shine like a diamond the next time you take it out. I am not a big fan of chromed cars, but I do like good, decent finish on a car. But for all those who cannot resist bling, here we go.
Here is a cool collection of shiny-chromed cars that range from Mercedes, Lamborghini, Lexus to Audi, BMW & others. These cars are for surely going to leave an impression on the roads and on your mind. Chrome plating is an electroplating process that requires dipping the parts in chemicals which means the car is to be disassembled & the parts electro-plated. Probably, the entire process costs as much as the car would cost on its own. There is no way I would ever allow this on my car, but there are people who would.
On the other hand we have special chrome paints, & MirraChrome paint by KMC Corporation is said to be the best chrome paint available which would cost about USD 1850 per gallon. Now with the figures clear there isn’t much to figure out how much it would cost to chrome your car. So if you want to bling it up and have that kind of cash, go ahead and do it. Neither do I want that paint and quite frankly, nor can I probably ever afford it.
