Let them wrestle on the prices and let’s enjoy reap the benefits. The ongoing price war to conquer the auto market in UK is bringing few good pieces of cakes on the platter. Chrysler is scaring BMW and Mercedes-Benz with its hefty 300C estate, which is scheduled to be launched next month.

The 300C Touring seems to have an upper edge with a starting price tag of £27,250 in both 3.5-litre V6 petrol and 3.0-litre turbodiesel form. Whereas, BMW’s 5-series touring starts at over £29,000 and Merc’s basic E-class estate is over £28,000. The 3.5-litre version of the Stuttgart machine is over £10,000 more expensive than the 300C Touring.

Chrysler is looking forward to encash on the looks of its 300C saloon by retaining the front in its 300C Touring, but German rivals too are not that bad either. You can even go for a 5.7-litre HEMI version of the car at £34,425.
