British fashion designer, Vivienne Westwood and luxury carmaker Bentley Motors will come together at the stylish Milan Fashion Week. Binding this unlikely match is a passion for detail and style that both of them have.
Bentley will collaborate for the designer’s exhibition at the Palazzo Reale in Milan from 26 September 2007. The exhibition is a retrospective of Westwood’s work and is on tour from the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, where it was first displayed.
The Bentley and Vivienne Westwood duo received admiration at the recent German Fashion Week in Dusseldorf. For the event in Milan, a bright yellow 1992 Bentley Continental convertible will be showcased.
Westwood will get a Bentley Continental Flying Spur for her use in the city. A Continental GTC will also be made available to the designer. The exhibition will open with Women’s Fashion Week and close with Men’s Fashion week in February 2008.
