As if things weren’t bad enough for Saab already, the cars have come face to face with a new mortal enemy, behold the iPod. Recently in Sweden, a parked Saab 9-3 went up in flames, and while the investigators have not yet zeroed down on the exact cause, they believe an iPod did it. The car did not show any evidence of neglect, technical faults or a possibility that it was intentionally set on fire. It is, however, believed that the fire started from the seat where the “suspect” iPod was left. Like our friends at Engadget we are inclined to believe that Google Translate unwittingly solved the mystery with the words “the music has become so hot that it melted the inside.” Please refrain from adding hot music to your playlists.
