There is not really much available on this so far other than the fact that the makers of this fine little car like to put it under ‘Smart Concepts’ category and it will be damn hard to argue otherwise. The Crossblade is a fine and technologically smart piece of engineering that seems to fit perfectly for the roads of the future. The futuristic metallic look that this car carries also comes with nice red interiors which give it a bright and warm touch. The car is not entirely pale and it does not look as if it is dull and blunt at any point, like some of the models started to appear these days.

At 1600-pounds, the Smart Crossblade sports a turbocharged inline-3 engine that generates 70hp and 80 lb-ft of torque. Instead of conventional doors, the Crossblade featured steel safety bows at the occupants’ shoulder level. They moved vertically upward with the help of a gas pressure spring. This really is pretty cool and gives the car an individuality of its own to stand away from the crowd. I really do hope we get a lot more about this machine in the future, but till then enjoy the visual show!

The first time I saw it, it’s like a golf car, no offense meant. And it fit’s to the teenagers out there who love’s to road trip. Like in Autopartswarehouse.com, they write an article like this.
It is probably a more fun car than something really serious and it does indeed remind you of those really bright cars of the 80’s. Of course it is a lot different with the looks and it is great to go out on a long drive on a date... Maybe.
