Ford Australia’s Sports division has lifted the curtains off its first non-Falcon vehicle in its array at the Sydney Motor Show; however, the vehicle has been derived out of the same Falcon platform. FPV F6 X is a derivative of the Territory range driven on a 4.0-liter in-line six-cylinder turbocharged engine.
The engine produces an awesome 362 horses of energy with 550Nm of torque. The vehicle gets a six-speed automatic transmission accompanied with a full time all wheel-Drive system.
Engineers at the Ford Performance vehicles have come up with a more improved, re-tuned suspension from the Territory, which delivers a firmer feel of a sports suspension to the vehicle. The engineers have also came up with a superior breaking performance delivered by equipping it with a Brembo six-piston front calipers and some newly fitted in standards for the ABS and the DSC system.

The car also gets good looking exteriors including a front mesh grille insert, rear spoilers and alloy running boards, which come with an air scoop loaded at its hood, metal inflections on the front skid plate, a rear skid plate and all this with a toning body colour and 18-inch five spoke alloy wheels coming in a distinctive Alpine Silver finish.

Interior comes with a two tone leather seat cut down to the desired shape. FPV logo is present on the instrument panel that also has a blue FPV illumination. Scuff plates and alloy pedals are also from FPV. Ford of Australia says the FPV F6 X will go on sale early next year.
