Here’s another car in-waiting to get hold of the most expensive car in the world title, and it may just get it. The Rolls Royce, popularly known as the “Star of India” is a one-off 1934 Phantom II 40/50 HP Continental “All-Weather Convertible” that was custom made for the Maharaja of Rajkot. The car was in the collection of Hans-Günther Zach, who had his own museum in Mühlheim, Germany and is now selling off the entire collection. The “Star of India” alone is expected to fetch a sum of €10 Million ($14.1 million).
