I don not know about the situation around the world, but cab drivers in my city can get pretty annoying. They keep on talking constantly, have very strong political opinions and they most often end up telling you what is wrong with the system and the traffic cops. Sometimes if I’m very lucky I get a lecture on what is wrong with kids these days and how the youth is irresponsible. Not that I am averse to that kind of enlightenment, but most often it is just plain nonsense. So we could well do with this wonderful automated cab for the future roads.
The Cyber Cab PRT vehicle can be compared to an automated taxi. It offers direct connections between origin and destination and offers personal transportation. It takes you through the shortest route and you can both travel as a group or as a family. The Cyber Cab accommodates a 6-persons and the vehicle features an automated sliding door and a low floor for easy and level access. The Cabs really looks nothing like the cabs of today and it really has that space age look to it.
The cabin is spacious and well illuminated at night. Large windows provide excellent all round vision and add tot the personal safety of the passengers. Seating is comfortable and information is conveyed to the passengers by means of the user console, display and voice module. The camera system allows the operator to display images of each vehicle interior real-time. The cab is both a wonderful vehicle for the future and it also provides with a nice solution to the entire chatter problem.
