Hollywood and the automobile industry have always been close and had a great association with one another in the past. More than anything else it has been spectacular and mutually beneficial. The two worlds of Formula 1 racing and Hollywood are not that different either. Both the worlds are full of glitz, glamour and plenty of pressure. There are hot girls, plenty of cash and the crashing and burning. We recently found out that even sex scandals are common in both the worlds!
Now it is the Dark Emperor that is making an association with the F1 world by bringing the Batmobile to the Silverstone. Toyota and Warner Bros have joined forces to promote The Dark Knight, announcing that the Tumbler will make an exhibition lap of Silverstone alongside the TF108 Formula One car. In addition to the exhibition lap, the Toyota cars will adopt special Dark Knight Paint schemes, while the Jarno Trulli and Timo Glock’s overalls will be made to look like Batsuits. (This should be fun to watch).
In the past the association of BMW and the awesome 007 has been nothing but sensational and very profitable to say the least. Hopefully the ruler of the nights and the Toyota team also have equally fun relationship.
