Mazda’s vision for cars in 2057 is very intriguing and interesting. You probably haven’t seen such a concept in sci-fi movies as well; man and machine become one in Mazda’s MotoNari RX.
The driver and the vehicle integrate non-invasively with a driving suit serving as the prime interface between them. Millions of microscopic actuators in the suit help the driver to experience the road psycho-somatically, while receiving electrical stimulation to specific muscles.
Acceleration and directions are controlled by two armrest mounted control points; the wheels are capable of making a full 360-degree turn. Designed by Mathew Cuningham, this one is sure to find a place in sci-fi stuff of the near future.
